Wilson’s Hospital School is embracing autumn with some decorations made by the Craft Club members this week. The Chaplain is looking forward to Harvest Week which we will be celebrating from 19th to 23th of October.

A Harvest Assembly will be recorded and then shared with the classes online. Volunteers to take part in this assembly in any way should contact the Chaplain now at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  He would like readers, musicians, dancers, singers, actors, performers - anything really! The working theme is 'thank God for...' so thanking him for our talents is a good way to include all of this.

He is also collecting details and photos of things we have to be thankful for #thankful4 for a display on our digital signage around school.

We are collecting non-perishable goods (pasta, rice and all tinned foods) for our Harvest of Cans in aid of TEAM (Temporary Emergency Accommodation Mullingar) which is a local charity which shelters and caters for victims of domestic abuse. Students and staff can bring in these types of goods by Thursday 22nd October when they will be delivered to TEAM. They have been particularly busy during the pandemic, but have seen a decline in giving from elsewhere.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to get involved.
