As part of Leaving Certificate Geography pupils carry out a Field Study Investigation which is worth 20% of the final exam. The title that Wilson's pupils are studying this year is "An investigation of the impact of human activity on geomorphic processes in a fluvial environment."
They carried out the fieldwork section on Thursday 7th November at the River Glin from Larch Hill with Branch Out, Educate Outdoors and now will write up the full fieldwork in the answer booklets provided by the Department of Education. As you will see from the pictures, it was a very wet day! There are more pictures on the school Facebook page.
